Confession of Sin

Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Psalm 142

Zechariah Chapter 14

⁽¹⁾ Behold, the day of the LORD is coming, And your spoil will be divided in your midst. ⁽²⁾ For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; The city shall be taken, The houses rifled, And the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city. ⁽³⁾ Then the LORD will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle. ⁽⁴⁾ And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, From east to west, Making a very large valley; Half of the mountain shall move toward the north And half of it toward the south.

Romans Chapter 15

⁽⁷⁾ Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God. ⁽⁸⁾ Now I say that Jesus Christ has become a servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers, ⁽⁹⁾ and that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written: 'For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, And sing to Your name.' ⁽¹⁰⁾ And again he says: 'Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people!'

⁽¹¹⁾ And again: 'Praise the LORD, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples!' ⁽¹²⁾ And again, Isaiah says: 'There shall be a root of Jesse; And He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles, In Him the Gentiles shall hope.' ⁽¹³⁾ Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Luke Chapter 19

⁽²⁸⁾ When He had said this, He went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. ⁽²⁹⁾ And it came to pass, when He came near to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mountain called Olivet, that He sent two of His disciples, ⁽³⁰⁾ saying, 'Go into the village opposite you, where as you enter you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Loose it and bring it here. ⁽³¹⁾ And if anyone asks you, 'Why are you loosing it?' thus you shall say to him, 'Because the Lord has need of it.' '

⁽³²⁾ So those who were sent went their way and found it just as He had said to them. ⁽³³⁾ But as they were loosing the colt, the owners of it said to them, 'Why are you loosing the colt?' ⁽³⁴⁾ And they said, 'The Lord has need of him.' ⁽³⁵⁾ Then they brought him to Jesus. And they threw their own clothes on the colt, and they set Jesus on him.

⁽³⁶⁾ And as He went, many spread their clothes on the road. ⁽³⁷⁾ Then, as He was now drawing near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen, ⁽³⁸⁾ saying: ' 'Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the LORD!' Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!' ⁽³⁹⁾ And some of the Pharisees called to Him from the crowd, 'Teacher, rebuke Your disciples.'

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.

  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
  He descended to the dead.

And, we pray, give us such an awareness of your mercies, that with truly thankful hearts we may show forth your praise, not only with our lips, but in our lives, by giving up ourselves to your service, and by walking before you in holiness and righteousness all our days; through Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom, with you and the Holy Spirit, be honor and glory throughout all ages. Amen.

Almighty God, you have given us grace at this time with one accord to make our common supplication to you; and you have promised through your well-beloved Son that when two or three are gathered together in his Name you will be in the midst of them: Fulfill now, O Lord, our desires and petitions as may be best for us; granting us in this world knowledge of your truth, and in the age to come life everlasting.
