Bishop Charles Sekelwa (Tanzania) Project Report

 Bishop Charles

TANZANIA.  A Message from Bishop Charles Sekelwa.

Praise the name of the Lord, we thank God for His faithfulness in our Lives we see His Hand  working in our ministries in many different ways, I would just like to give a brief praise and thanks report on our Poultry farming project (Funded by the All Saint Day Missions Offering), for several Sellingmonths now from last year we have been working on this project, our Patriarch has encouraged us time and again to engage into Micro-projects for the purpose of making profits that in turn will be used to serve the church in her various ministries, we started with 90 Birds with intention of producing eggs for sale and that after 6 months we would sell the older chicken egg producers and replace them with younger Chicken egg producers, until recently we had managed to have over 380 Birds, from the sell of eggs we made $1,670 and  then we decided to sell  the 200 older Birds for $560 and we kept 180 Birds to sustain our project.

Since we wanted our project department to be sustainable and self supporting we decided to use the money we made to buy a parcel of property for $2,100 this land is 1,200 square meter and it will entirely be dedicated for project purposes, on this church property, we shall be able to have several small  projects.Land

On behalf of our church in Tanzania I would like to thank our Patriarch and all our CEC churches in the US who have donated generously toward this initiative, we pray for you all that God will bless you even as you continue supporting us so that finally the church of Africa will be able to support itself.

Please Brothers and sisters don’t get weary in doing good for His kingdom’s sake and His people because you will reap in due time.
